Facebook bans to be lifted?

Facebook usage in the office has always been a point of contention. Employers want to tap into the next frontier to expand their business but is wary of the impact on productivity and also confidentiality of data. Employees on the other hand think they should be entitled to have their social lives in the workplace.

A light bulb lighted in my mind this morning to write the following fictional internal news for a company.

Names are purely fictional and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Present Joy and Future Hope

Senior Pastor Dr Daniel Ho, 04/04/2010
An English preacher went to US to preach. He said everyone has a but. It’s very easy to see other people’s buts. It’s very hard for us to see our own buts.

A 12-year old boy was walking along with a bird cage, whistling. A man saw him and asked him what he had. The boy said he had birds, a sparrows. He said he was going to tease the two birds. After that if they survived, he’d give them to his cat. If they survived even that, he’d cook them. The man offered to purchased them for USD100. The boy said it was too much. The man paid anyway because he was concerned for the birds. He got the birds along with the cage and let them go.

The text is Lk 24:13-35.
