In a piece of news that will shock and grieve his many fans around the world, Steve Irwin, better known as the Crocodile Hunter (although he'd never hurt any crocodiles) dies in an accident during shooting.A stringray barb "was driven like a bayonet" into Steve's body. He was pronounced dead on the scene. He is survived by his wife, Terri, daughter Bindi Sue (named after a crocodile from Babinda, and Irwin's dog, Sue) and and son Bob.
