Man (and woman), you are stupid

I will start with a quote from C. S. Lewis.

"The trouble about trying to make yourself stupider than you really are is that you very often succeed."

Sometimes we don't even realize that we are trying (to be stupid). The case in point is classified. I am not at liberty to disclose details or names of the event because it is being handled by the people who should be handling it.

Suffice to say that try as one may, no one can "cover the sky with one hand." (That's a Chinese expression that means the attempt of a person to do what he / she wants without being found out.)

I think you have heard this too. One can lie to someone all the time or everybody some times. But one cannot lie to everybody all the time.

The "case in point" is about lack of respect, disobedient, no submission, trying to usurp power, trying to get things done first (you know "nasi sudah jadi bubur", so you don't like it but what can you do about it?) and a classic display of a power trip.

When one perceive something to be his / hers when it is not, it can be a dangerous thing because he / she will make bad judgement.

For example, when the hired COO thinks the company is his / hers and try to develop "his / her" company in a way that violates the owner's guidelines / trust, it's a disaster waiting to happen. It's just a matter of how much damage will the COO cause before he goes down in flames.

Enough said.

Ye ye, it's not wise to simply abuse in anything, neither is it good to carry out anything prematured....

In either way, time should be given for the best decision and result...

As a matter of fact, no one is able to 一手遮天...

When it gets into our head, we become like Lucifer who wanter to take the place of God to receive the praise and worship. The result is clear to all.

Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

One sign of power trip is refusing to have a check and balance.
